by Springer Verlag)
 
 
          This conference aims at bringing together researchers in econometrics and quantitative analysis in economics for an opportunity to present and discuss theoretical and applied research problems as well as to foster research collaborations.
           The conference opens to any topics in econometrics especially "Modeling Dependance in Econometrics". All quantitative methods with applications in economics such as CGE modeling, fuzzy modeling, neural networks, genetic algorithm and data mining are also welcome.
           This year, the conference calls for papers for the second round to welcome scholars all over the world to present their papers and participate in the conference.
           The book published by Springer Verlag which includes papers from the first round of the call for papers will be distributed in the conference.

About website CMSE conference

This website aims to provide necessary information for guests and participants of the current conference which is being hosted by Chiang Mai School of Economics (CMSE), Chiang Mai University, Thailand. You can find an easy way to register online. It also provides the guideline through the program of the conference, the arrangement of the excursion for guests' spouse and the logistics. The map of the conference venue and the transportation to the place are provided in details to ensure that the guests and participants can reach the conference hall safely. Moreover, the list of articles which will be presented in the conference can be viewed. Last but not least, it introduces the corresponding staffs who take care of the guests before, during and after the days of the conference.

Conferences which have been hosted by CMSE since 2008 are also presented in this website. In 2008, the school proudly hosted the 4th national conference for economists in Thailand. After that, a series of international conferences in econometrics has been jointly held by CMSE and the Thailand Econometric Society. Papers of these conferences will be downloadable from this website soon.

This website also supports the ambition of the school to reach the world class standard. The school emphasizes its specialization on econometrics, computable general equilibrium (CGE), financial economics and development economics. It would like to provide facilities, academic atmosphere and good incentives to attract best researchers around the world to do research projects at CMSE.
